Treasuring communication with nature above all else, Matsubara travels around the mountains and plains of the Nasu district, collecting colored earths that he then mixes with acrylic resin to produce his paints.
His paintings of the moon or natural landscapes blend with the modern lifestyle in a pleasant fashion.
