1971 Graduated in Commercial Design from the Industrial Design Department of Musashino Art University
1975 Began dyeing and weaving with the Konohanakai group
1983 First selected for the Kokuten Exhibition (Kokugakai), consequently selected every year
1987 Received the Newcomer Award at the Kokuten Exhibition (Kokugakai)
1992 First solo exhibition, Sekai-kan Gallery, Tokyo
1993 Received the Kokugasho Award at the Kokuten Exhibition (Kokugakai)
2000 Second solo exhibition, Sembikiya Gallery, Tokyo
2006 Received the Associate Member Excellence Award at the Kokuten Exhibition
2007 Became regular member of Kokugakai
2009 Lecturer in the Design and Crafts Department of Joshibi University of Art and Design
