A striking new work for the exhibition, "TENPI" (Heaven's Secret) is a tall, vertical form that embodies the artist's quest to find a perfect balance between movement and stillness. This principle is realized in the sculpture's dual curved sides, which Yasuda personally shaped with his own palm to achieve their harmonious flow. The artist describes this abstract and geometric form as "a seed of the mystery." Carved from pure Statuario marble, the sculpture acts as a conduit to the divine, making a hidden cosmic truth momentarily visible and tactile.
