Kai Tsujimura’s Karatsu Tea Bowl is rounded and perfectly symmetrical in shape. The application of the glaze is almost patternly and the flow of the browns, rutiles, yellows on top of the dark, iron red color of the clay body, transition naturally, creating a smooth sense of direction and movement.
