Yasushi Fujihira's Silver Tea Bowl contains a very different kind of aesthetic to that of his fathers. Yasushi Fujihira's tea bowl is made of stoneware coated with a palladium glaze. The reflective surface for eh form feels mirror-like and fluid. The dense areas of glaze feel as if they are flowing. The foot of the form is simple and carved by the artist. This crackling texture of the glaze gives the piece a more natural, organic feeling.
