The four colors of this glass piece, like the wax in a melting candle, bend around each other in their formation. The bright yellow center radiates light that seems to slowly travel through, into the remaining of the piece. As soft diffused light makes its way through the cerulean grey, cranberry red, and icy blue, it becomes more aware of its surroundings. The light seeps through the cracks. With the subtle divide between layers of color, the piece becomes elevated, transcending the space that it’s situated in.
