This vibrant Blue Tea Bowl by Yasushi Fujihira is one of the highlights in our collection. The incredibly vivid cerulean blue glaze feels like a glowing star. The porcelain underneath creates a pure white surface, like a blank canvas, for these glazes. This blue glaze seems to pop out and vibrate against the simple form, classic to Yasushi Fujihira. Do not be fooled by the seemingly opaque color, the tea bowl is cosmic. The inside of the tea bowl, with a sense of directional flow, highlights areas of thickness, bringing forward the true translucency of the glaze.
