This circular tray was hand crafted by Tohru Matsuzaki. A deep coat of black lacquer urushi lacquer brushed over the interior borders of the tray draws our attention to the beautiful textures and patterns naturally ingrained in the wood. A simple design piece that accentuates the intricate beauties that form organically in our environment. The darkness of the wood and lacquer evoke feelings of a dark starry night. This tray will bring the calm and comfort that comes from enjoying our natural wonders into the home.
