Yui Tsujimura’s Shino Tea Bowl is part of one of his most elegant series. The incredible light colors, like mist, gather together on the surface of the form and lightly drip towards the foot and the belly of the bowl. The snow-like shino glaze coats the stoneware, creating a solid white base color that allows the glassy ash glaze to subtly and harmoniously stand out on the surface.
Like drops of dew, the glaze contains exquisite color and seems to absorb and refract light.
