Biography

Shibusawa Sei (B. 1983) received her BFA in Japanese Painting and MFA at the Tokyo University of the Arts. She has received many awards, including the 30th Anniversary of the Mayor's Award Taito Ward Collection Exhibition (Tokyo University of the Arts Museum), and was selected for the 7th Shuzakura Foundation Study Abroad Award. Her work has been shown all over Japan, such as the 2012 Contract Research "Aspects of Painting Paper and Its Demonstration" Paper Book Painting Exhibition and the Gallery Night Party -Sense of Women- (Kobayashi Gallery.)
