    Hidemitsu Maejima (b. 1949) is a fourth generation master wood and bamboo craftsman specializing in delicately carved tea utensils.

    1971       Graduated from Kuwasawa Design School
    1993       Studied under Muneaki Ashida of the Omotesenke school
    1995       Fourth generation successor to Maejima Woodcarving Studio (temple carving), Certified Edo woodcarving traditional craftsman
