This White Shino Tea Bowl by Kai Tsujimura has a lovely opaque white glaze that is dipped over a red stoneware. The surface decoration of the black slip peers through the glaze, creating a foggy atmosphere. The glaze, although consistent throughout the piece, seems to be denser towards the base. The light catches the lip of the form, creating a semi-glossy reflection, emphasizing the softness of the surface.
