Kai Tsujimura’s Ido Tea Bowl is a classic Ido piece. The light orange clay boy coated with a thin layer of translucent white glaze is soft and minimal feeling. The foot of the tea bowl is tall and proportional to the shape of the overall form. The artist elevated the strengths of the clay material through its making and firing process.
