Shimmering fish scales, laser-cut from mother-of-pearl, adorn Terumasa Ikeda’s hexagonal tea caddy in the raden style. A lucky shape in Japanese philosophy, the hexagon is a natural form found in snowflakes, turtle shells, and beehives.
