De Santillana worked in the company of master glass blowers Ben Cobb and Dale Chihuly-collaborator Charlie Parriott during her first residency at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington. Her signature slumping technique and gold powder incorporate a distinct approach to texture and the dispersion of shimmering color.
