Among the last of her works, de Santillana pressed on experimenting with the marriage of deep blue pigment and synthesized uranium; a greenish-yellow hue that first beckoned her to the Czech Republic where the rare color is produced. A pristine surface is uninterrupted by a surface treatment; yet subtle undulations are captured within the slumped glass and refract in tandem with the intense color.
