De Santillana’s experiments in color reached new heights amidst her collaboration with engineers in the Czech Republic late in her career. Her creative mastery of color yielded a deep yet vibrant blue totally unique. Wave gradations fade into achromatic glass, harkening to tidal formations or cascading water.
