The classically slumped and folded method was a paradigm from which de Santillana introduced formal and color distortions that coax out the intricacies of glass. Bisected by a vertical incision, the dark glass conceals an otherwise magenta hue and was a favorite of the late artist’s previously kept only in her private collection.
