My aim is to create genuine Suiboku-ga ink paintings.
Clouds hang over the top of the mountain, rain starts, and nothing can be seen.
After a while, the blue-sky peeks out again, and its beautiful shape appears in front of you.
Mt. Fuji; it’s the mountain in my hometown I’ve kept my eyes on since I was born. 15 years I’ve painted the mountain. I wonder if someday I might paint this mountain in grandeur and daintily?
