Takeshi Suzuki is a master of Shino ware, a style of Japanese pottery with origins dating to the 14th century, known for white glazes, textured surfaces, and among the most masterful ceramicists, a striking iron-red from kiln effect. Large Shino Bowl showcases Suzuki’s command of the medium, featuring a red-and-white striped pattern around the rim.
