Copyright The Artist
The recurring hydrangea represents moonlight and memory. Someya, who experienced the Great Tohoku Earthquake, never forgot the beautiful soft blue light from the moon that night. Expressing it through a flower, Someya finds that we are often blind to the truly important things around us until the day they’re lost.
