The third in our artist talk series features artist Yukiya Izumita and artist and educator, Malcolm Mobutu Smith.

Yukiya Izumita is known for his "Sekisoh" series, sculptures constructed with layers of clay slabs. Malcolm Smith is currently the associate professor of Ceramic Art and Director of Graduate Studies in the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design at Indiana University. His works are inspired by graffiti art, comic books, and organic abstraction.
