Shin Fujihira’s Tiger brings to life the whimsical, creative world of the artist. Sculptural and functional, the artist transforms the Tiger into a lidded form. With mishima lines alongside the construction of the piece to highlight stripes and features of the tiger, the piece is playful. The expression of the tiger, almost as if the character is in the middle of speaking, suggests a moment of action and the lidded quality adds to its intrigue.
