Sill is a remarkable piece, one that includes the technique of applique. The silver leaf patterning inside the clear frosted glass sculpture adds a quality of depth into the sculpture. Like a never-melting block of ice, Sill creates soft shadows and eludes a feeling of contemporaneity. The piece contains a sense of bottled anticipation.
