Inspired by the serene beauty of Lake Biwa, this sculpture holds a special place in the hearts of the Ishikura brothers. Drawing inspiration from the renowned Italian architect Carlo Scarpa (1906-1978), they've imbued this piece with a unique blend of humor, delicacy, modernity, and a touch of Japanese essence. Iron, unlike other metals, possesses a spectrum of expressions, from robust to fragile, and this sculpture gracefully embodies that versatility. Its presence seamlessly integrates with the lakeside ambiance and scenery, evoking a sense of harmony and tranquility. The works of the Ishikura brothers now grace the halls of major international museums and adorn the collections of discerning collectors worldwide.
