Still yet moving, monotonous yet loud, Tokyo-ga contains in itself contradictions that simultaneously balance the piece perfectly. Almost as if the piece is holding something fluid, the sculpture, like ice, carries the colors of cream and purple, perfectly balanced, as they melt into each other - frozen in time. The sculpture then invites the interruption of light, bringing together the harmony of the translucent colors.
