Design Miami/ 2023 Recap

Ippodo Gallery’s presence at Design Miami/ for a second year is met with rave reviews.

We are so grateful for the enthusiastic responses of our cherished VIPs, returning Collectors, and first-time fairgoers who have traveled from both near and far to acquire the work of contemporary Japanese artists.

As one of the few Asian galleries represented at this year’s fair, we are honored to realize record-breaking sales on behalf of our artists, including ceramicists Kodai Ujiie and Mitsukuni Misaki, the Japanese-inspired Murano glass legend Laura de Santillana, and the paper artist KAKU, whose Pure Light lamp is featured in GALERIE magazine as architect Lee Mindel’s choice.

Positioned at the entrance of the fair, it is clear that our culture-driven aesthetics—sensitivity, serenity, and handmade craft—have a profound effect amidst the buzz of Miami Art Week.
