Born and raised in Nara, she produces her works in Kutani, Ishikawa prefecture, a city famous for its chinaware. She applies delicate paintings of plants and animals onto porcelain incense containers and small boxes, bringing them to life with her skillful artistry. With her newest series of the carp, she has branched out and challenged herself further.
